Chile, I know you wish life could be easier, but you must ease out any tangles or any matting around any beads and/or top of the track once a day. If this is not done, serious matting can develop. Removing such matting may cause damage to Hari Hair Extensions and your own hair; and costly.
Washing and Styling:
Girl, you must rinse all of the film and residue thoroughly prior to using a non-sulfate shampoo to clean your extensions. Squeeze and blot the hair to prevent damage to extensions and your own hair. You can use the end of a rat tail comb to scratch your scalp (not too hard). Repeat this step. Condition the ends ONLY. Rinse thoroughly. Style as desired using little to no product.
Coloring and Perming:
Serious damage may be caused to your own hair and the Hari Hair Extensions by chemical treatment at home or by kitchen-tician not thoroughly familiar with Hari Hair Extensions. This is because color or perming chemicals may be trapped in the micro-cylinders, thread, braids or tape, where they can continue to chemically process and possibly cause damage to the extensions and your own hair. All chemical treatments of your hair should be carried out at Hari Hair Extensions Salon, or by a professional hairstylist approved by your Hari Hair Extensions Salon as competent to treat Hari Hair Extensions. The range of color changes possible to Hari Hair Extensions is limited by certain chemical factors understood by your Hari Hair Extensions Salon Stylist. Do not chair hop. You get what you pay for.
Hairstylists not familiar with Hari Hair Extensions may damage it by cutting it too short, or by using an incorrect technique. Before having your hair and Hari Hair Extensions cut by a hairstylist who is not a Hari Hair Extensions Salon Consultant and/or Stylist, you must ask your non Hari Hair Extensions Salon hairstylist to contact your Hari Hair Extensions Salon Consultant and/or Stylist to discuss the desired style.
Please don’t yank a brush through your hair or anyone’s hair. Brushing must only be carried out by applying pressure to the top of the extensions with the palm of one hand, while brushing from the ends up with the other hand. (Any vent brush is acceptable).
When swimming, braid your Hari Hair Extensions as this will prevent knotting. Always remember to rinse the chlorine or salt water out of your Hari Hair Extensions after swimming and apply a good conditioner or detangling spray (not too much) and rinse thoroughly.
Chile, don’t ever go to sleep with your head naked. Please wrap, loosely braid, bantu knot or pony tail your hair and extensions when sleeping. Please make extensive use of the satin bonnet provided by Hari Hair Extensions Salon. This smooth silky surface is non-abrasive, reduces friction and will assist in taking care of your Hari Hair Extensions while sleeping.
Pretty Links ONLY:
As your hair grows, the attachment micro-cylinders attaching the Pretty Links will move further away from your head along with your own hair. This can increase the traction on your own hair. It is necessary for you to return to a Hari Hair Extensions Salon every four (4) to six (6) weeks, or as advised by your Hari Hair Extensions Salon Consultant and/or Stylist to have to the attachment cylinders returned to their original position or replaced. Failure to do this may result in tangling and/or loss of some of your own hair. Should you require assistance in styling, you may return to Hari Hair Extensions Salon within one week of the initial installation date to assist with any inquiries you may have. This will also determine the suitable forward care regime at home and in Hari Hair Extensions Salon. It is essential that you contact your stylist if you have any questions.
